Embraer Ends 2015 with 221 Aircraft Delivered

Brazilian airframer Embraer announced that it ended 2015, with deliveries of 101 commercial aircraft and 120 business jets for a total of 221 aircraft delivered; the highest ever in five years. The business jet deliveries were comprised of 82 light jets and 38 large business jets. The commercial aircraft deliveries, exceeded Embraer’s aircraft delivery guidance by a single aircraft. Embraer’s order backlog as of December 31st, 2015 stood at $22.5billion. The airframer announced that it had delivered 33 commercial aircraft and 45 business jetsin the fourth quarter of 2015, 25 light jets and 20 large jets were delivered in the executive jet category. The fourth quarter of 2015 also saw the completion of the first Legacy 450 delivery and a firm order forfive Phenom 100E business jets(with five options) from the Emirates Flight Training Academy. The first Phenom 100E delivery to a Chinese customer was completed in December 2015. The last quarter of 2015, saw Embraer receive orders from SkyWest for 19 additional E175s andconversation of options for firm orders for two additional E175s for KLM, as part of the March 2015 deal which contained 17 firm orders and 17.
