Bhaskar Bhat New Chairman of TATA SIA Airlines

Tata SIA Airlines, has announced the appointment of Bhaskar Bhat as its new chairman. Bhat was previously M.D. of Titan Company Limited, a part of the Tata group. Bhat takes over from Prasad Menon who retired from the airline on January 13, 2016. “My focus will be on ensuring that Vistara continues to deliver the legendary service excellence and hospitality that the Tata group and SIA are known for,” said Bhatt. Vistara completed a year of operations in India, on January 9th and currently operates a fleet of nine new A320 aircraft. It will add four more aircraft, in the course of this year. The full-service airline operates flights to 12 destinations across India, with 307 flights a week.
