Scoot to Commence Operations from India

Scoot, the low-cost, medium-haul arm of the Singapore Airlines Group, has announced that it will commence India operations from 24 May.
 
The Long haul low cost carrier, which flies the world’s first all 787 Dreamliner fleet, will introduce services to Chennai, Amritsar and Jaipur. 
 
“Scoot is excited to bring our proposition of value travel and service with Scootitude to guests in India – who will soon be able to fly to amazing destinations in our network through the Singapore hub – on our brand-new 787 Dreamliners featuring inflight connectivity, in-seat power and a wide range of customisation options,” said Scoot’s CEO, Campbell Wilson.
 
Scoot is taking over Singapore-Chennai services from Tigerair from 24 May, commencing services from Singapore to Amritsar on the same day, with operations from Jaipur, slated to begin from 2 October 2016.
