Long-Haul Low Cost Carrier (LCC) Scoot will commence operations on the Singapore-Bangkok-Tokyo sector from July 20, this year.
Scoot already flies six times a week to Osaka in Japan. Scoot will also commence its India operations from May 24, with daily flights to Chennai and thrice weekly flights to Amritsar, followed by thrice weekly flights to Jaipur from October 2.
Campbell Wilson, Scoot’s CEO, said: “Scoot is excited to connect three very exciting and iconic Asian cities. Bangkok and Tokyo have always ranked among Singaporeans’ top vacation spots, and there is now no reason why they can’t hit up both cities in one trip! We are also eyeing the increasing demand for travel between Thailand and Japan.”
Scoot operates an all-787 Dreamliner fleet. the world’s first, which offers increased cabin comfort along with inflight Wi-Fi, and in-seat power throughout the aircraft.
Scoot’s all 787 Dreamliner fleet operates between Singapore and Sydney, Gold Coast, Bangkok, Taipei, Tokyo, Tianjin, Shenyang, Nanjing, Qingdao, Seoul, Hong Kong, Perth, Osaka, Kaohsiung, Hangzhou, Melbourne, Guangzhou and Jeddah.
