Garuda Indonesia and MTU Sign Exclusive CF34 Engine Maintenance Agreement

MTU Maintenance has signed an exclusive maintenance contract with Asian carrier, Garuda Indonesia for its CF34-8C5 engines, for a period of five years.  
 
Under the contract terms Garuda Indonesia will send its CF34-8C5 only to MTU Maintenance for repair. The CF34-8C5 engine, powers a Garuda Indonesia fleet of 18 Bombardier CRJ1000 aircraft.
 
The MRO work will be carried out at MTU Maintenance Berlin-Brandenburg and the contract covers 30 to 40 shop visits and services also include the provision of lease engines.
 
All current engine models of the CF34 family (CF34-1/-3, -8C/E, -10E) are supported by MTU Maintenance.
