Delta and Korean Air Strengthen Partnership

U.S. carrier Delta will add a new daily nonstop flight from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to Seoul Incheon International Airport beginning June 3, 2017. The new service is an expansion to Delta’s Asian operations and will see the deployment of a 291-seat Boeing 777-200LR aircraft on the route.

DGCA-Indonesia Approval for Aerocet Composite Aircraft Floats

Aerocet was recently awarded approval from DGCA-Indonesia for its 6650 amphibious twin aircraft floats for the Quest Aircraft Kodiak 100.The lightweight composite floats offer substantially reduced maintenance time and costs, while improving performance as a result of leaks and corrosion typically associated with heavier aluminium floats now having been removed.

Leeds Bradford Airport Boosts Air Traffic Capacity with ADB Safegate

An upgrade to the Air Traffic Control systems for Leeds Bradford Airport, which serves 3.5 million passengers per year, with ADB Safegate’s advanced Air Traffic Control technology is enabling the airport to now support increased traffic. The upgrade to the airport’s ATC systems is being done to support its ambitious draft Masterplan proposals to deliver 7.1 million passengers annually by 2030.

Pilatus Receives Top Customer Service Rating

Swiss airframer Pilatus has been ranked as the best customer service provider for business turboprop aircraft, for the 15th year in a row. The rating was based on the annual survey by Professional Pilot and Aviation International News magazines, which is sent out to nearly 9,000 operators of turbine aircraft around the world. The survey is considered to be a benchmark for how well Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) support their customers.
