SF Airline Receives First 767-300 Boeing Converted Freighter

China based SF Airlines has taken delivery of its first 767-300 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF). Boeing supplier ST Aerospace Services Co. facility in Singapore was the delivery location, as the conversion work took place there. The 767-300 BCF is the is the first of five 767BCFs that will be delivered to the airline in 2016.

“With its larger capacity and higher fuel efficiency, we look forward to the 767BCF ensuring quick shipping to our customers,” said Xi Liang, SF Airlines Vice President of Maintenance and Engineering. “This delivery marks a significant milestone for SF Airlines, Boeing and the express cargo market in China,” said Mike Fleming, Boeing vice president of Fleet and 787 Services. The Shenzhen based airline at present has an all-Boeing fleet of 25 airplanes, in operational service and also has a letter of intent with Boeing to purchase 737-800BCFs.
