Singapore Airlines to Work with Tourism Malaysia

Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Tourism Malaysia have signed their first-ever Marketing Collaboration Memorandum to boost tourist arrivals into Malaysia. The two-year partnership will be effective from April 1st. 
 
The agreement calls for the Singapore hub to be used to promote tourist traffic to Malaysia via SIA and SilkAir’s services.‘We are thrilled to be working with Tourism Malaysia to boost air travel into Malaysia. Singapore Airlines and SilkAir together serve nearly 100 destinations in 35 countries, making us well positioned to support the development of tourism in Malaysia and the broader ASEAN region as a whole,’ said Singapore Airlines’ Divisional Vice President Sales and Marketing, Mr Foo Chai Woo.
 
A number of tourist attractions are only a short flight away from Singapore such as Borneo (Sabah & Sarawak), Langkawi, Penang and the east coast of Malaysia.
