Airbus has secured a firm order for an Airbus ACJ319neo, from an Asian customer, who becomes the first in the region to place an order for the type.
The aircraft is planned for delivery in the second quarter of 2019.
According to Airbus, the client is upgrading to the ACJneo from a large, traditional, business jet, though a decision on the engine choice and cabin outfitter is yet to be made.
“The farther you fly, the more important comfort becomes, and the increased range of the ACJneo Family means that customers can now enjoy unequalled comfort and space to even more of the world,” comments Airbus Chief Operating Officer, Customers John Leahy.
“Business jets are about making corporate and government executives more productive and Airbus corporate jets now enable even more of that,” he adds.
Six firm orders for the ACJneo family have now been received by Airbus since the launch of the type less than a year ago.
The ACJ319neo can transport 8 passengers over 6,750 nm/12,500 km or 15 hours.
