GoAir Receives First Airbus A320neo

Indian low cost carrier (LCC) GoAir has taken delivery of its first A320neo aircraft, becoming the world’s third operator of the type and the second Indian airline to do so. To date, seven A320neo aircraft have been delivered to three customers.
 
The airline has placed orders for a total of 72 A320neos and the aircraft will join an existing fleet of 19 A320 aircraft operated by the airline. 
 
GoAir’s first A320neo is the first of the type to be financed on a sale and leaseback through SMBC Aviation Capital.
 
GoAir’s A320neo aircraft are powered by Pratt and Whitney engines and is the first A320neo equipped with the innovative Spaceflex cabin configuration with 186 seats.
