Antonov is exhibiting two of its airplanes at the ongoing Dubai Airshow. The aircraft at the event are the AN−132D aircraft−demonstrator, prototype of the AN−132 multipurpose transport, and AN−70 military STOL transport.
"Participation in the Dubai Airshow is very important for our enterprise," said Oleksandr Kryvokon, acting President of the company "This is a good opportunity to present modern programs and our aircraft to potential customers from Middle East."
The AN−132D took part in the demo flights program at the air show. Test crew, captained by Bohdan Zagorulko and co−piloted by Andrii Gorin, showed maneuverable characteristics of the aircraft in the sky over Dubai. Discussions and negotiations on delivery of components for AN−132 series production, design of new modifications of the airplane, and after−sale support of Antonov aircraft operated in the MENA countries, are also being held during the course of the event.
