AirAsia India Announces New Flight Routes

AirAsia India, the budget carrier, inducted its 17th aircraft by adding another A320 aircraft to its fleet. The airline will be now flying to Imphal from New Delhi as well to Delhi and Pune from Bengaluru from early next month.

 

The operations on this new route will commence from April 7.
With the latest induction, AirAsia India has added three new aircraft and as many destinations along with eight new routes in the first quarter of the current calendar year. Last month, the airline had added its 16th aircraft, announcing the launch of its services to Nagpur and Indore. The routes will be operational from March 17.

 

“This new route that is currently underserved is going to delight guests in the Northeast. So far, we have added three aircraft, three new destinations, eight new routes and we look forward to setting many more milestones this year,” said Amar Abrol, MD and CEO, AirAsia India.

The airline also announced special one-way promotional fares for the New Delhi-Imphal service.
