Alaska Airlines Has Big Plans for Paine Field

: Jan 18, 2018 - : 5:41 pm

Alaska Airlines will introduce new daily nonstop flights from Paine Field-Snohomish County Airport in Everett, Washington, to eight cities once commercial operations start at the airport later this year.

The Seattle-based carrier, which has the most West Coast nonstop flights of any airline, will offer 13 daily nonstop flights to cities that include Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Portland, San Diego, San Francisco and San Jose.

“This is both a historic occasion and a great honor for Alaska Airlines,” said Andrew Harrison, Alaska Airlines’ chief commercial officer. “We’re proud to become the anchor tenant of the new terminal at Paine Field. With so many new possibilities for business and leisure travel, we believe this will bring increased opportunities to our communities.”

The carrier’s Paine Field flights will feature a three-class configuration on its Boeing 737s: first class, premium class, and main cabin. Passengers will also be able to take advantage of Wi-Fi connectivity, free texting, as well as free movies and TV shows that can be streamed on personal devices.

The new terminal at the airport is under construction and will be inaugurated in fall this year.
