Boeing has been awarded an U.S. Navy contract for materials in support of F/A-18E/F Super Hornets aircraft. The deal is valued at more than $41.3 million.
As per the contract, Boeing will provide long-lead materials for full rate production of 20 F/A-18E and four F/A-18F Super Hornet variants. Work on the contract will occur in St. Louis, Mo., and will be complete in March 2022.
The obligated funds will be allocated from Navy fiscal 2018 aircraft procurement funds, the Pentagon said.
